Tuesday Talks

"Tuesday Talks", a summertime weekly series of one-hour lectures at the Old School House, 130 Center St. in Douglas

"Saugatuck and Douglas Art Discoveries & the Art of Restoration"
by Ken Kutzel & Dave Ball
Tuesday, July 30 at 11 a.m.

Sponsored by Larry & Shirley Akins and Floyd Fleming

Shown at the left, a formal oil painting of Lake Michigan shoreline dunes by Chicago artist Charles Vickery, famous for his water-scene skills developed in our area; the other an ink drawing by John Peterson, locally known as "the one-armed artist" (deceased), showing a whimsical view of Saugatuck's chain ferry.

The talk is free and the public is invited, but seating is limited so early arrival is recommended.

See you on Tuesday at the Old School House when the bell rings at 11 AM.
