Two artistic advertisements for Saugatuckbusinesses. (top) A drawingfrom a brochure for The White House in the early 1950's when it was run by Daveand Sallie Erlandson. (Below) An advertisement for TheGalley, a part of the Coral Gablescomplex, when lake perch were plentiful. This ad is from the late1960's. The small restaurant is on the lower level on the river water side ofthe building and was frequently flooded in the 1970's and early 1980's duringhigh water. It was also known for hot home made donuts during breakfast hours.
