The Society’s Heritage Preservation Committee established the

H E R I T A G E      P R E S E R V A T I O N     A W A R D S

in 2001 to further the Society’s mission

“to provide leadership in enabling the community at-large to connect with and understand its past, to preserve the quality of community life, and to respect and use the area’s history to shape its future.”
